Correct me if I'm wrong but I think there are some dual action hidden blades designed by fans on YouTube which doesn't use springs so darius hidden blade could definitely have employed those mechanisms. But based on the replies springs existed that far back so probably isn't a problem to worry about. With this setup I have around 900k SDPS from Death Aura and around 400k SDPS from the Unseen Strike Skill from the Hidden Blade Although I do lose an over-all 350k SDPS, it's honestly alright since the culling strike more than makes up for the lost DPS with the instant kill once the enemy reaches lower than 10% HP.I've been considering a poison prolif Pathfinder with the dagger. Single target will definitely be an issue, but a herald of agony might do some real work. Especially since we can 6 link it. Refilling quartz flask will help keep phasing up for boss fights as well.
Or, if the the duration of the buff was longer than 10 seconds, it may be a good option to use DW and have that skill on your bar. Hidden Blade is usually a situational skill, and to cast it every 10 seconds just to maintain the buff sounds tedious. "Only the dead have seen the end of war." -Plato.
