Or if you want less than 2.5 (or 5) gallons of the syrup, you're going to have to look at craft soda syrup brands and see if they make a knockoff syrup.
The traditional mix ration (aka Brix) is one part syrup to 6 parts carbonated water, although supposedly McDonalds uses one part syrup to 5.5 parts water, to compensate for the ice melt.
